For those of you who don't know our family grew this year. Jason and I are so proud of our three kids. Our oldest is Riley who is 4 years old and started school this year. She goes to a Pre-K program through the school and takes a bus to school and everything. Riley is also currently going to play practice through the park district. Late January she will be in a production of The Little Mermaid. She takes this very seriously and practices her songs all the time at home. Riley loves being the big sister to her two little brothers almost all the time.
Our middle child is Wyatt. He is 3 years old. The kid has a personality that just won't quit with the energy to match. He keeps us laughing all the time, well..... almost all the time when he's not busy making us crazy. Wyatt is enjoying his time with mom and dad when big sis is at school and baby Ben is sleeping. He gets us all to himself then. Wyatt can't wait to go to school though. Almost every week Riley's school has an activity that the whole family can go to and Wyatt gets so into those activities. Everyone knows him there. He also absolutely adores his little brother.
Benjamin joined us this year on Mar 23rd. He has been such a blessing to our family. Ben is just the happiest, rolliest, polliest little baby ever. He is now sitting by himself, rolling all over the place, and starting the army crawl. Probably by the time you read this he will be full blown crawling. Ben is a great eater and sleeper, which makes mom and dad really happy! We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family.
Jason and I have both enjoyed a truly blest year. Jason started a new job last year at Bull Valley Ford in Woodstock, IL. He works as their Finance Manager for the dealership. Things couldn't be going better for him here. The dealership is a great place to work, it's not far from home, and he actually gets to be home by 10pm most nights. That's quite a treat for us. As for me, well... I stopped driving the school bus after last school year. About 6 weeks after Ben was born I finished my school year out and went back to driving the bus with all 3 of our kids plus the kids I picked up and dropped off for school. It was a bit crazy trying to get everyone out onto the bus two times a day, 5 days a week. By the end of our summer break with a lot of thought and prayers we decided that I was not going to go back to bus driving. Although I miss the kids I drove to school, I am really glad to have the time with our kids. It has made our lives so much easier.
